The Missionary Oblate Partnership is excited to announce the the March launch of the “new MPS.”
MPS is considered an important part of the Oblate charism of being “close to the people”. At the most basic level, MPS “teaches people to fish” by providing Catholic missionaries specific funder information, research resources and practicum experience in the areas of grant writing and communications.
The Partnership, in collaboration with Oblate School of Theology, recently acquired Mission Project Service (MPS), a mission capacity-building operation founded by the Maryknoll Missionaries in 1974 and, since 2005, operated by the Brothers of Christian Instruction (FIC) as outreach of Walsh University (North Canton, Ohio).
Many thanks to the foundations and Partners who have provided resources for us to take on this new venture.
