Becoming a Partner
Partnership means joining Oblate leadership in a dialogue about how to best help those who are called to serve within the context of human dignity that the founder articulated. Partnership then becomes a mutually beneficial exchange between Oblates and Partners about the best way of proceeding together.
Each year Partners meet with Oblate leadership to discuss priorities and strategies.
no formal requirements, plenty of opportunities!
The Partnership is structured to offer a series of events throughout the year for a Partner to “plug into” on a regional or national basis. These include the following:
Annual De Mazenod Conference
A weekend conference with Oblates, Partners and national thought leaders in spirituality, education and media.
Regional partner Meetings
An evening hosted by a Partner that includes a brief meeting, guest speaker, mass, socializing time and dinner.
Mission Trips
Trips to Oblate missions in Haiti, Zambia, Mexico, Sri Lanka, and Peru. These are offered on an interest-only basis or at the request of the local mission.
Ad Hoc Meetings
Meetings that come up throughout the year that partners are invited to join. Our events calendar will show meeting dates.
